Wal-Mart Offers Job-Training Program For D.C. Residents

A three-year pilot job-training program will be offered by Wal-Mart to provide about 2,000 city residents with the appropriate skills in retail. The entire job-training program will be an estimated $3 million. The pilot program will be specifically intended for the residents of D.C. according to Keith Morris, director of community affairs for Wal-Mart in its East Region.
