Qi Men Dun Jia Deity Stars for June 6 to July 6, 2014

Dear Friends, As many of you may know, this is the year of the Wood Wu Horse. The Wu Horse is a Fire element, which is good if you need fire in your chart. If you already have a Wu Horse in your chart, and the Wu Horse comes in during 2014 as a year star, the intensity of the Fire is amplified, and the presence of a second Wu creates what is called a “Self Punishment”. In other words, if you have a Wu Horse in your chart, 2014 is a year where you could do something really stupid. Why am I telling you this? Because from June 6 to July 6 it is also a Wu Horse Month, and June 16th is a Wu Horse Day. Wu Wu Wu Wu is a lot of fire, a lot of Self-Punishment, and it’s a lot of potential to do something really stupid this month, particularly on the June...

Thriving vs. Surviving

Arianna Huffington’s new book, Thrive, and Dan Harris’s 10% Happier have created a growing interest in meditation and the way of life it encourages. As a result, the financially obsessed definition of success is changing. Don’t get me wrong, they are not suggesting that there is something wrong with having money, making money or even wanting money, but when your life’s happiness or level of success is solely defined by how much money you have or make, that’s when you could be putting unnecessary pressure on yourself that begets discontent. My older daughter constantly calls herself a “struggling actress.” She lives in the Big Apple, working her butt off in various jobs so she can pay for her ridiculously expensive, but tiny apartment while spending her days...

Feng Shui Can Help Sell Your House

Sometimes I look back on my years of traveling and all I can remember are the months I spent preparing to move, and then the unpacking set-up. Every time we finally got settled, either our lease ended and we had to find a new house, or our assignment ended and we were on our way to a different country! I’m so grateful for our overseas experiences, and have no intention of taking away from the joy that comes from being immersed in fascinating, international cultures, but no matter how you slice it, moving is exhausting!!! My ex-husband and I owned and sold seven different properties while we were married, and rented nine properties in the 17 years that we lived abroad. I can rant for hours about the stress associated with moving – but having to sell before you...

Deity Stars for May 5 to June 5, 2014

Please forgive me for providing the star locations for this month after May 5th. I have been in San Francisco studying the Qi Men Dun Jia classes, which better define the various energies and am just returning, eager to incorporate this knowledge into the star evaluations. Every month is a precious month and delivers what we need when we need it. This month is all about protecting/developing your wealth and healthy, loving relationships. Whether these relationships are new or long-term, clear your differences and go forward. Harmony this month is paramount. Combine these two powerful stars (Harmony and Earth), and one could assume that the month may suggest that we create a healthy relationship with money. The Chief resides in the South and is as powerful as...
